The Vision Behind Energy Forecast
Energy Forecast was born from the idea of actively supporting the green energy transition and promoting more sustainable energy use. With electricity price forecasts, we provide a powerful tool that enables consumers and businesses to optimize their energy consumption.
Our mission is to make a positive contribution to climate protection by shifting energy consumption to times when renewable energies are more prevalent in the energy mix. We believe that data-driven decisions are an important step towards a more sustainable future.
Democratizing electricity price forecasts: While precise electricity price forecasts have primarily been available to large B2B companies, Energy Forecast's stated goal is to make this valuable information accessible to everyone. We believe everyone should benefit from this data to make more informed energy decisions.
The project started as an experimental idea and has developed through continuous improvement into a reliable service that delivers daily electricity price forecasts.
About the Developer
Energy Forecast was developed by Moritz Mair, a passionate software developer.
Moritz combines his technical expertise with a deep interest in renewable energies and sustainability. His goal is to have a positive impact on climate protection through technological innovation.
As an active member of the DIY energy optimization scene and an EV driver for several years, Moritz has first-hand experience of how important precise energy forecasts are. Energy Forecast grew out of his personal need to optimize his own energy consumption and maximize the use of renewable energies – a solution he now wants to share with others.

This reliable cloud infrastructure ensures high availability and scalability and enables us to offer a stable and fast service that complies with strict European data protection standards.
